Spokane County
From our Spokane service office.
Heating and cooling in Spokane CountyMost of our calls come from Spokane and Spokane Valley, dispatched from our office on N Florida St. Our head office in Omak covers the Okanogan side. Here is what the work looks like in each part of that coverage, and where it ends.

Quick answerAbrahamson's Air serves Spokane, WA, Spokane Valley and nearby parts of Spokane County from a service office at 5104 N Florida St, and the Omak area of Okanogan County from its head office. Calls are answered 24/7 on one number. Outside those areas, call before booking and we will tell you honestly whether we can reach you.

Our service office sits in Hillyard, the northeast neighborhood that grew around the Great Northern rail yard after it was platted in 1892. A large share of the housing here went up between 1940 and 1999, so we see mid-century furnaces, older duct layouts and plenty of homes adding central air for the first time. North of the city, Five Mile Prairie has been filling with subdivisions since the early 2000s, and those homes now bring us 20-year-old heat pumps and furnaces reaching the end of their service life.
Close to downtown, neighborhoods like West Central hold some of the oldest housing in the city, with a median build year in the late 1930s. Many of these homes never had ducts, or have small returns designed for a gravity furnace, so ductless heat pumps, added returns and careful sizing make up much of the work. Across the whole city the median home dates to 1961, and about a quarter of homes predate 1940.
Spokane Valley is the other half of the Spokane-Spokane Valley metro area, and we cover it the same way we cover the city: residential furnace, AC and heat pump calls, plus rooftop units and split systems on the retail, restaurant and light industrial buildings along its corridors. Commercial calls there are dispatched around your business hours when the repair allows it.
Across the county the median home was built in 1978, and roughly one in four went up after 2000. We cover the suburban and rural parts of Spokane County around the city, where tighter newer homes raise ventilation and humidity questions and rural properties bring garage, shop and outbuilding heat requests.
Our head office is in Omak, the largest town in Okanogan County, where smoke seasons can hold poor air in the valleys for weeks. Customers in the Omak area reach the same crew through the same phone number. Filtration, heat pumps and ductless systems for homes without ducts make up much of the work there.
Coverage has limits. We do not claim the whole Inland Northwest. If you are outside Spokane County or away from the Omak area, call before booking. We will tell you plainly whether we can get to you in a reasonable time, and if we cannot, we will say so rather than book a visit we cannot keep.
